Below is a guide to understanding how our modern coins and banknotes are graded on this site:

U = uncirculated

AU = about uncirculated

XF = extremely fine

VF = very fine

F = fine

VG = very good

C = circulated, used here as a blanket term for coins that are not UNC

CL = cleaned
